Karndean Da Vinci LVT, Rush Green

RM2 Flooring Centre supplied and fitted a Karndean Da Vinci LVT floor in a Kenyan Tigerwood style for a care home in Rush Green, to a design agreed with the client.

The job involved the uplift and disposal of the existing stuck down carpets, which were excessively worn.

We scraped the sub-floors, removing all the loose material before priming and applying a latex screed with ARDITEX NA levelling and smoothing compound, to provide a solid level base for the Luxury Vinyl Tiles to be glued to.

We specified Karndean Da Vinci Kenyan Tigerwood tiles, that provide a striking, realistic effect which is difficult to distinguish from a real wooden floor. These tiles have a 0.7mm wear layer, which is durable enough for even the highest traffic areas that you would expect in a care home setting.
